Lin Fan, a master chef, gives up his honors and quietly returns to his village. There, he finds his father being bullied by four wicked chefs and their restaurant taken over. Pretending to endure their abuse and show weakness, he lets the villains run wild. When Shen Bing, a cold and aloof food critic, arrives, the wicked chefs seize the opportunity to force Lin Fan to sign a shareholding agreement and even knock his seriously ill father to the ground. Unable to tolerate it any longer, Lin Fan reveals his true abilities, stunning everyone with god-tier knife skills.
