After Being Invested as Princess, I Overturned the Whole Family's Table
The Great General of Suppressing the North died in battle, and the Emperor and Empress intended to confer the title of Princess upon a daughter of the Shen family. Shen Qingci, the originally chosen candidate, declined the title in the imperial court, while her second younger sister, Shen Wantang, insightful of the Shen family's crisis, proactively stepped forward to seek the title. Having fled for refuge in Yanzhou in the past, Shen Wantang relied on her resourcefulness to preserve the entire family; she does not yearn for a superficial, pure reputation, but single-mindedly wants to shoulder the heavy burden of guarding the Shen family and comforting the families of the frontier generals. After going through numerous tests, Shen Wantang won recognition through practical deeds, was conferred the title of Princess Zhaoning, took charge of the old troops of the North, and also helped her elder sister break free from the shackles of fate.
