After waking up one morning, a graduate of the Chinese Department at Shanghai University finds herself with an unfamiliar face in the mirror, possessing top-tier beauty, and a bank balance of just 87 yuan and 30 cents. She starts out at the front desk, relying on her ability to remember every visitor's name. Some people tell her she doesn't need to understand anything; they only want that pretty face. But she insists on mastering financial models. When expensive gifts and shortcuts are offered to her, she returns them. Rumors, trending searches, and old acquaintances coming back into her life—she responds with just one sentence: 'Right now, I only want to make money.' A one-bedroom apartment costing 3,500 yuan, a monthly salary of 20,000 yuan, and a few friends she can truly confide in are all things she earns for herself.
