Disasters and famines ran rampant, and the villagers of Xiaopo Village lacked food and medicine, making it difficult to survive. Dayas, the heroine, relied on an ancestral wooden token to shuttle back and forth to the modern world. She went into the mountains to gather wild produce in exchange for supplies, bringing back grain, herbs, farming tools, and vegetable seeds to take care of her sick mother-in-law and help the children in the village. After learning the secret, the village chief gave his full support, leading the villagers to reclaim wasteland, farm, and learn to read. Everyone supported each other through the difficult times, and Dayas, with her kindness and resilience, became a little lucky star protecting the entire village.
