Three Copper Coins Cross the Mortal World
Rushing river waters cannot sever the warmth of the mountains and fields. Poor young man A Chuan braves death to save an elderly man who fell into the river, and by chance unlocks three opportunities to make a wish. Faced with wealth and prosperity within easy reach, he instead turns to build bridges to ferry the many, open a medicine hall to save hundreds of families, endures the repeated obstruction and harassment of the local gentry, cares for his gravely ill mother, and safeguards the livelihood of an entire village.
