Back in the real world, she rebuilds her career and falls in love with Fu Jin, her childhood sweetheart who has secretly loved her for years. Overwhelmed with regret, Lu Chenzhou goes so far as to cross worlds to stop her, even threatening to take his own life, but Jiang Li has completely moved on. Eventually, she exposes the deception involving Xia Anqi and her supposedly deceased older brother, bringing the Lu family to bankruptcy.
