Three Years of Bitter Medicine, A Paper of Reconciliation
Shen Zhiyi was married to Xie Yan for three years, drinking bitter medicine in hopes of having a child, only to discover a packet of contraceptive soup prepared for another woman before her husband's distant trip. She secretly switched the medicine, and sure enough, waited for Xie Yan to return home with a pregnant childhood friend, Song Qingyan. Facing her mother-in-law's favoritism and her husband's betrayal, Shen Zhiyi resolutely proposed a divorce, withdrawing her three years of financial support for the Xie family. After losing the protection of the Shen family, the Xie residence gradually fell into difficulties. Xie Yan finally saw the truth and regretfully begged for reconciliation. However, Shen Zhiyi would no longer look back, taking charge of the family business once again and starting a new life of her own.
