Three Thousand Yuan Supports Whole Family, Still Complains I Secretly Hidden Money
After retirement, Chen Huilan moves into her son's home. For three years, taking three thousand yuan of household allowance every month, she covers grocery shopping, cooking, laundry, and picking up and dropping off, and constantly subsidizes with her own pension. But a remark from the mother-in-law, "Raising children and cooking shouldn't collect money," actually makes her son Zhou Mingyuan and daughter-in-law Xu Man suspect that she secretly hoards household funds, and even demand to check her pension. Chen Huilan returns the three thousand yuan and completely stops all housework. Until the family truly takes over mundane daily chores and old accounts are itemized one by one, they discover that not only did she not hide money, but she has long been subsidizing out of her own pocket.
