Lin Yuan emptied his savings to rent a storefront and generously taught his family's secret spicy soup recipe to his down-and-out cousin, Liu Qiang. Once the restaurant blew up in popularity, greed consumed Liu Qiang and his snobbish fiancée, and they kicked Lin Yuan out with a measly 50,000 yuan, claiming they had mastered the core technique. Little did they know, Lin Yuan had a trick up his sleeve, secretly preparing the soup's vital base ingredients every single night before dawn. Deprived of the real secret, the cousin's restaurant soon crashed into ruin, while Lin Yuan went viral in the suburbs thanks to his authentic culinary skills, drawing crowds of wealthy patrons. Desperate, Liu Qiang went to plead with the legendary "Spicy Soup Healer" in the suburbs, only to discover the master was the very cousin he had cast out. In the end, Lin Yuan joined forces with major investors to launch a flagship brand, leaving his ungrateful cousin with absolutely nothing.
