You Say The Demon Abyss Has No Demons, Then This Emperor Will Not Guard It - Season 1
Ye Changqing kept his promise, guarding the demon cave for thousands of years to protect the peace of Daqian. The new empress listened to the slander of the favored minister Gu Beichen, believing that his stationing at the demon abyss was solely to embezzle secret realm treasures, and the whole country scolded and suspected him. Ye Changqing painstakingly warned that the demons were not yet exterminated and leaving would surely bring catastrophe, but he was mocked and driven away by everyone, cutting off all feelings and righteousness. Heartbroken and disillusioned, he left indifferently. The common people and soldiers rushed into the demon abyss to loot treasures, and the demons that had lain dormant for thousands of years poured out in full force, and all the looters lost their lives.
