Weary of conflict, he chose to play the fool to pass the days, but due to his father's disdain, he was replaced as heir by his cousin Gu Yaozu. His uncle Gu Tingjiang colluded with Han Biao to set a trap using eight hundred million in fake gambling debts, forcing the Gu family to mortgage the group's controlling stake, and even intended to take away Gu Chenzhou's two older sisters. To protect the only warmth left in his home, Gu Chenzhou spoke up for the first time, publicly exposing the conspiracy to usurp assets and overawing everyone in attendance under the name of underworld titan Wei Qingcang. From then on, the former capital overlord returned to the poker table to settle scores with the family parasites and turn the tide for the Gu family.
