New Life on the Saline-Alkaline Land
When Su Linghe wakes up after time travel, the Su family is preparing to sell their ancestral land due to debts. She stops the sale in time, judges from the salt crust, standing water, and old ditches that the barren land is not beyond rescue, and decides to test her methods on a small plot. She leads everyone in draining water and washing away salt, selecting old seeds, and improving the soil, while continually dealing with salt recurrence, crop shortages, heavy rain, and droughts. As the trial plot succeeds, her improvement methods are recognized by the villagers and the agricultural office. After two seasons of stable bumper harvests, the Su family finally pays off their old debts and keeps their ancestral land, bringing the once-barren saline-alkaline land back to life.
