Twenty Yuan in Dividends, I Become the Watermelon King in the Wasteland
In the early 1980s, Lin Fan spends an entire year working hard to grow watermelons and earns 50,000 yuan, but his second uncle is only willing to give him 20 yuan as his share. After enduring endless disrespect, Lin Fan angrily ends their partnership and leases a barren, sandy wasteland that nobody believes is worth cultivating. Facing torrential rain, watermelon diseases, and his second uncle's repeated sabotage, Lin Fan repeatedly turns the tables with his exceptional farming skills. The once-worthless wasteland becomes a treasure trove, while his uncle's supposedly fertile fields suffer one loss after another. With the support of his fiancée, Xiaomei, Lin Fan leads the villagers in developing the watermelon industry, rising from an exploited melon farmer to the 'Watermelon King.'
