The Fang family was exterminated after being falsely accused of murdering an imperial heir. Surviving sisters Lianwu and Lianxi vow to take revenge. Three years later, Lianxi enters the palace under the guise of an imperial merchant's daughter, while Lianwu accompanies her as a maidservant. With the help of imperial guard Shen Louyu, they uncover the truth: the mastermind was none other than the Emperor himself. Risking everything to protect an imperial prince, they seize the opportunity to bring down Consort Xian, eliminate the tyrant emperor, and support the young emperor to the throne, avenging their family.
