After marriage, both encountered the sudden change of their husbands bringing home strange women. Believing their relationship was utterly broken and with cold hearts, they planned a fake death to escape far away to Luoyang. Over four years, each gave birth to a pair of children and lived a carefree life. Little did they know that the two husbands were plotting for power back then, bringing back women merely as political chess pieces, and after discovering their fake deaths, searched bitterly for four years. In the end, Yuan Shian and Ning Yizhao tracked them down to Luoyang, forcibly taking back their wives and children.
