Xu Maiqiu has worked in the grain order business for ten years. Before purchasing begins, facing unreasonable orders from his company to falsify testing results and drive down purchase prices for farmers, he sticks to his principles and refuses to sign. After purchasing starts, the company arbitrarily downgrades the grain, slashes prices, shifts blame onto him, and suspends his duties. Xu Maiqiu joins hands with the farmers to preserve evidence and coordinates with regulatory authorities for third-party re-inspections, protecting the farmers' legitimate rights through contracts and actual test results. Despite being fired, he persists in helping farmers resolve the dispute. Later, he joins a small grain processing mill, abides by the spirit of contract, pragmatically develops grain order business, and establishes a trustworthy production and marketing partnership.
