Two Sisters, Their Skillful Hands Weave a Prosperous Life - Season 1
The Su sisters are exceptionally skilled embroiderers. A devastating flood that swept across the south leaves them homeless and bereft of their family. To protect themselves while fleeing famine, the two breathtakingly beautiful sisters, like twin lotus blossoms, deliberately disguise themselves as ugly servants. After traveling a thousand miles to Longnan, they are settled by the authorities and matched for marriage by the official matchmaker. Faced with a life-changing choice, the sisters declare in unison, “We sisters will never part. If we marry, we’ll marry into the same family!” They are then brought before two brothers in Nanshan Village who are considered hopeless bachelors. The elder brother is a lame, retired soldier, while the younger is a stubborn hothead fiercely protective of his brother. The villagers are all waiting to laugh at this poor, ugly match.
