Lu Chen, the boss of a sea cucumber supply chain, returns to his village with the painful lesson of losing tens of millions three years ago. At his own expense, he mobilizes 15 professional refrigerated trucks to buy out all the villagers' sea cucumbers at the cost price of 85 yuan per pound, intending to protect his fellow villagers from catastrophic financial ruin. Unexpectedly, village chief Wang Changgui uses the past trend of sea cucumber prices doubling after typhoons to incite public anger, falsely accusing Lu Chen of exploiting a disaster to slash prices and suck the villagers' blood. Wang Changgui tears up warning notices, obstructs transactions, and even launches livestreams to cyberbully and smear him.
