A Decree as Makeup, Wrongly Marrying the God of War
Jiang Qingwu, the daughter of a royal merchant, carries her father's dying wish to marry into the Jingguo Duke's Mansion. On her wedding day, however, she is humiliated by her fiancé Pei Shichu, who forcibly passes her off to marry Pei Shinian, the unconscious 'disabled' general, to ward off bad luck. Enduring this, Jiang Qingwu marries in, secretly obtains an imperial decree naming her a First-Rank Lady of Designation, reclaims the household management, and discovers that Pei Shinian's poisoning with the Nine Nether Grass is actually the work of Wen Luoluo conspiring with Pei Shichu. Meticulously detoxifying and reviving her husband, the two join forces to uncover the truth, expose Crown Prince Xiao Ji and the Wen family's treasonous hoarding of troops, cleverly set a trap of Soft Tendon Powder, and capture the rebel army in one fell swoop before Xuande Gate. Pei Shinian regains military command, and Jiang Qingwu firmly guards the rear with her title of lady of designation.
