A Stove of Hearth Smoke Keeps the Original Heart
Xu Chunhua is a pastry chef with exquisite skills in Qingshi Town. Because the shop owner blindly cut costs, switched to inferior ingredients, and forced her to hand over the recipes she had accumulated over the years, she chose to stick to the bottom line of her craft and resolutely left the old shop. She rented an abandoned tofu workshop, built a traditional earth stove with her own hands, insisted on selecting fresh ingredients, and made pastries entirely by hand. Relying on the mellow taste of genuine materials and down-to-earth conduct, she gradually won the recognition of the neighbors, and her orders increased day by day. In the end, Xu Chunhua bought out the original shop, opened "Chunhua's Old-Style Pastry Shop", guarding the old taste of traditional pastries with ingenuity, and also safeguarding the duty and original heart of an artisan.
