One Road, Two Ledgers
Five years ago, when the village road was being repaired, a household's fence occupied the road, and everyone pooled money to make the road passable. Five years later, a wedding encountered one problem after another, bringing the accumulated neighborhood conflicts to the table. After the laughter and trouble, everyone understands better that public roads belong to the whole village, and whoever is overbearing cannot occupy them; getting along with neighbors requires both reason and affection. As the storm subsides, the village is paved with smooth asphalt, and life becomes smoother and smoother. Repairing the road is also repairing the mind; following rules, understanding gratitude, and cherishing neighborhood affection are the true colors of a harmonious and beautiful countryside.
