Fished a Lucky Baby Out of the River
In Luhua Village by the riverside, poor fisherman Zhou Dajiang casts his net in the river and fishes out a four-year-old toddler, who opens her eyes and calls him Daddy. The family struggles to make ends meet, but this child is a lucky star; with a sweet milky word of fish come, schools of fish swarm into the net, and wherever she points becomes sweet. The Zhou family turns their fortunes around, village bully Wang Ermazi is green with envy and tries to borrow the toddler, fish tyrant Manager Zhao cuts prices and short-weighs to swallow up the catch, and the authorities even fabricate a water monster charge to take the child away. Simple daddy Zhou Dajiang, mother Xiugu, and little brother Xiao Shitou who protects his sister risk their lives to protect the toddler, leading the whole village to fish, plant lotuses, dry fish, and open a fish shop to get rich. The little God of Wealth is just a little toddler who loves to chew on corn and run by the riverside.

La famiglia mangia a stento, ma questa bambina è una stella fortunata; con una vocetta dolce dice che arrivano i pesci, e banchi di pesci si precipitano nella rete, ovunque punti diventa dolce.
