A Bowl of Dumplings, Destroying My Gaokao
Top student Wang Hao is about to take the Gaokao, sprinting for top elite universities. But Wang Hao is severely allergic to nuts. Chen Xiulan feels heartache for her grandson Wang Hao, repeatedly bringing nuts to Wang Hao, all of which are rejected. On the eve of the Gaokao, Chen Xiulan secretly chops walnut kernels and wraps them into dumplings. On the day of the Gaokao, Chen Xiulan insists on feeding dumplings to Wang Hao. Shortly after eating, Wang Hao's allergy breaks out, and he collapses on the spot. Fearing the family's questioning, Chen Xiulan finally confesses that the dumpling filling was mixed with walnuts.

Chen Xiulan a de la peine pour son petit-fils Wang Hao, apportant à plusieurs reprises des fruits à coque à Wang Hao, qui sont tous rejetés.
