Lin Xiaofei runs a braised-food stall at a vegetable market. Out of kindness, she allows three fellow vendors to share her cargo van for their supply runs. The three willingly insist on paying her 100 yuan each per month for transportation. However, they soon become increasingly demanding, repeatedly breaking the rules by arriving late, piling up their goods carelessly, and even bringing live fish aboard. Zhao Mengya, an assistant market administrator, wants to undermine Lin Xiaofei in the competition for model stalls. She stirs up trouble by persuading the three vendors to question the transportation fees and demand an accounting. Lin Xiaofei decisively returns their money and cuts ties with them. Zhao Mengya then introduces her cousin's rundown van to the three, secretly enjoying free rides and kickbacks while encouraging them to write anonymous negative reviews to smear Lin Xiaofei. On the day of the competition, a typhoon strikes, and their van suffers a flat tire and breaks down. When the three vendors ask Lin Xiaofei for help, she refuses.

Lin Xiaofei, propietaria de un puesto de comida estofada en el mercado, permite amablemente que tres comerciantes del mismo sector compartan su furgoneta de carga para ir a comprar mercancía. Los tres insisten voluntariamente en pagarle 100 yuanes cada uno al mes por el transporte. Sin embargo, pronto empiezan a abusar de su generosidad: llegan tarde, amontonan las mercancías sin orden e incluso suben peces vivos al vehículo, incumpliendo repetidamente las normas. Zhao Mengya, subdirectora del mercado, quiere perjudicar a Lin Xiaofei en la selección de los puestos modelo. Para ello, manipula a los tres comerciantes y los incita a cuestionar y recalcular las tarifas de transporte. Lin Xiaofei les devuelve el dinero con decisión y rompe toda relación con ellos. Después, Zhao Mengya les presenta la destartalada furgoneta de su primo. Ella viaja gratis y además recibe comisiones, mientras anima a los tres a publicar reseñas negativas anónimas para desprestigiar a Lin Xiaofei. El día de la selección llega un tifón, y la furgoneta sufre un pinchazo y queda averiada en la carretera. Los tres piden ayuda, pero Lin Xiaofei se niega.
