A Pond Reflects Worldly Feelings
A Pond Reflects Worldly Feelings tells the story of fish farmer Chen Dashan leading villagers to tide over a drought. Five years ago, the old canal was blocked, and his fish pond suffered heavy losses; five years later, facing the plea for help from his former enemy, he insisted on distributing water according to rules, neither retaliating with old grudges nor covering up mistakes. With the support of his wife and villagers, he promoted public accounts, improved water supply management, and broadened fish sales channels, allowing the cooperative to gradually walk out of difficulties. A pond of fish reflects the myriad states of the world, and a canal of water connects the hearts of the villagers, showing the changes brought about by fairness, integrity, and responsibility.
