One Team-Building Event, See Through Human Hearts
Cheng Ye pays out of his own pocket to plan a four-day, three-night team-building trip for all his colleagues in the group, taking care of everything from hotel transfers and wild mushroom banquets to mountain-climbing experiences down to the smallest detail, even noting down every colleague's dietary restrictions. But when he refuses to pay for the four extra outsiders Xu Nian temporarily wants to bring along, what he gets in return is not understanding, but blame and public mockery, and he is even removed from the team-building group chat. Without arguing, Cheng Ye calmly cancels all orders and embarks on a journey of his own with Zhou Ming, the good brother who has always strongly supported him. When the colleagues discover in Dianzhou that the hotels and chartered cars have all fallen through, they finally have a sudden awakening, realizing that the person they mocked as being unable to afford it was actually the one silently carrying everything on his shoulders.
