After going through many hardships, Su Xiyao unexpectedly meets Tuantuan, a child who rarely speaks, and makes an agreement to accompany Huo Shichen. Après avoir traversé de nombreuses épreuves, Su Xiyao rencontre par hasard Tuantuan, un enfant qui parle très peu, et conclut un accord avec Huo Shichen pour l'accompagner. Elle emménage dans la demeure de la famille Huo avec ses deux filles. Grâce à ses talents culinaires exceptionnels, elle apaise peu à peu Tuantuan et aide l'enfant à retrouver la parole. Face aux provocations et aux rumeurs de leur entourage, Huo Shichen choisit de lui faire confiance et de la protéger. Su Xiyao retrouve les talents culinaires que sa mère lui a transmis et reprend possession du savoir-faire qui lui revient de droit. Tous deux se libèrent des contraintes de leur accord, choisissent de rester ensemble par amour sincère et fondent avec les enfants un foyer chaleureux et harmonieux.
