A Piece of Paper Hangs Life and Death, A Piece of Paper Changes Destiny
Construction site relief carving master Gao Jianye is diagnosed with a pancreatic shadow. In despair, he wins 158 million on the lottery. Seeing through his girlfriend Zhao Mei clinging to contractor Qian Hu, he furiously smashes the landscape wall of the unpaid construction site, and takes his daughter Xiaowan to the city to eat, buy phones, and buy a car. After returning to the village, he deliberately only reveals that he earned 5 million, which attracts relatives like his second sister-in-law Jia Guilan and nephew Gao Yang to turn green with envy, spread rumors, and borrow money. His mother is scared to fainting and hospitalized, and while the relatives calculate the old house and "inheritance", they force him to help Gao Yang pay off 400,000 in debt. Gao Jianye uses his "illness" to test human hearts, and is finally diagnosed as benign. He is determined to protect his mother and daughter, make the snobbish relatives completely shut up, and complete a counterattack.
