Migrant worker Dazhi worked hard away from home for years. Due to warped values, his wife Liu Azhen conspired with the scammer Dongge to not only swindle away their family savings and mortgage their property, but also put Dazhi at a disadvantage in their marriage through improper means. Later, Azhen discovered that Dongge was committing fraud and deceiving multiple people's affections at the same time, and during a fierce conflict, she resorted to extreme illegal methods, resulting in both of them being sanctioned for breaking the law. Three years later, Azhen returned to society to work a legitimate job, and during a work shift, she witnessed her ex-husband having rebuilt a complete family, with their child being properly cared for.
