Lin Xiaofei runs a braised-food stall at a vegetable market. Out of kindness, she allows three fellow vendors to share her cargo van for their supply runs. The three willingly insist on paying her 100 yuan each per month for transportation. However, they soon become increasingly demanding, repeatedly breaking the rules by arriving late, piling up their goods carelessly, and even bringing live fish aboard. Zhao Mengya, an assistant market administrator, wants to undermine Lin Xiaofei in the competition for model stalls. She stirs up trouble by persuading the three vendors to question the transportation fees and demand an accounting. Lin Xiaofei decisively returns their money and cuts ties with them. Zhao Mengya then introduces her cousin's rundown van to the three, secretly enjoying free rides and kickbacks while encouraging them to write anonymous negative reviews to smear Lin Xiaofei. On the day of the competition, a typhoon strikes, and their van suffers a flat tire and breaks down. When the three vendors ask Lin Xiaofei for help, she refuses.

Lin Xiaofei gestisce una bancarella di piatti brasati in un mercato. Per gentilezza, permette a tre commercianti dello stesso settore di condividere il suo furgone per andare a rifornirsi di merce. I tre insistono spontaneamente per pagarle 100 yuan a testa al mese come spese di trasporto. Tuttavia, ben presto iniziano ad approfittarsi della sua generosità: arrivano in ritardo, ammucchiano la merce senza ordine e portano persino pesci vivi a bordo, violando ripetutamente le regole. Zhao Mengya, vice amministratrice del mercato, vuole ostacolare Lin Xiaofei nella selezione delle bancarelle modello. Perciò mette i tre commercianti contro di lei, spingendoli a contestare e ricalcolare le spese di trasporto. Lin Xiaofei restituisce loro il denaro con fermezza e interrompe ogni rapporto. In seguito, Zhao Mengya presenta ai tre il vecchio furgone malandato di suo cugino. Lei viaggia gratuitamente e intasca anche delle commissioni, mentre li incoraggia a scrivere recensioni negative anonime per infangare Lin Xiaofei. Il giorno della selezione arriva un tifone: il furgone fora una gomma e si ferma in panne. I tre chiedono aiuto a Lin Xiaofei, ma lei rifiuta.
