A Cowbell's Ring: The Guardian of the Mountains
In the late 1980s, little girl Jiang Xiaohe in Qinghe Village depended on her grandmother for survival. One day, an aging old water buffalo was sent to the slaughterhouse by its owner because it could no longer work. Seeing Daqing kneeling on the ground to beg for its life, Xiaohe took out the only money left at home to save it. Everyone laughed at her for raising a useless old cow, not knowing that this cow had long kept the kindness in its heart. Later, Daqing used its spirituality to help Xiaohe find medicinal herbs and get through difficult times, but it also attracted the covetous eyes of greedy people. When Xiaohe fell into crisis, this silent old cow guarded her with its life. Years later, a familiar sound of the cowbell rang out once more, and fate quietly reunited.
