A Typhoon, Seeing a Family Clearly
As a torrential typhoon strikes, five-year-old Duoduo is left home alone by her grandmother. Claiming she is going out to help find a necklace, the grandmother actually goes to a mahjong parlor. Sensible Duoduo, worried that her grandmother will get caught in the rain, goes out alone to deliver an umbrella and accidentally falls into a flooded construction excavation pit, hanging by a thread! Upon discovering her daughter is missing, mother Chen Xiaoyun immediately calls the police to search and rescue, but her mother-in-law lies repeatedly. Even more chillingly, her husband Zhou Ming has secretly fathered another son behind her back, and while their daughter's life or death is uncertain, he is still celebrating that child's birthday! Faced with her husband's betrayal and her mother-in-law's concealment, Chen Xiaoyun resolves to rescue her daughter, uncover the truth, and protect the future of herself and her child.
