A Leather Bag Through Past and Present, I Help the Empress Pacify the Realm
Su Mo, whose family fortunes have declined, has his assets embezzled by his uncle and is burdened with tens of millions in debt. He accidentally discovers that the leather bag left behind by his father can connect to the parallel ancient Great Xia dynasty. At this time, Great Xia is suffering from a massive disaster with barbarian forces pressing on the border; eighteen-year-old Empress Lin Xi is trapped defending Yancheng, and the common people and soldiers are on the verge of desperation. In the name of the Heavenly Lord, Su Mo sends food, weapons, and armor to help the empress defend the city and resist the enemy; Lin Xi repays him with antique treasures, allowing Su Mo to acquire massive wealth. Modern-day Su Mo slaps the faces of the Qin family who broke off the engagement and launches a counterattack against his enemies; the ancient empress purges traitors, gathers the hearts of the people, and prepares to recover lost territory.
