A Strange Call, Unveiling a Six-Year Scam
A strange late-night call turns a sister-in-law and sister against each other in a standoff. Xu Ning unexpectedly discovers that she has been deceived by her own brother, Xu Mingyuan, for a full six years. While embezzling his wife Lin Yan's betrothal gift savings, the brother also misappropriates his mother-in-law's life-saving money to plug investment deficits. Relying on double-dealing manipulation, he keeps both women completely in the dark. As the truth is peeled back layer by layer, the sister-in-law and sister set aside their estrangement to join forces in gathering evidence, tear off the hypocritical masks, and decisively break free from the quagmire. Partnering to open a shop, they weather the storms together, each meet their good match, and welcome their very own double-blessing life amidst the hustle and bustle of the common folk.
