A Box Lunch, A Conscience
At a box lunch stall next to a construction site, Lao Zhou guards freshly stir-fried ingredients, insisting on two meat and two vegetable dishes for 15 yuan. His apprentice, Zhao Yong, sets up on his own, putting out a sign for 9.9 yuan all-you-can-eat. Relying on cost-effectiveness, he quickly wins over the workers, leaving Lao Zhou's business quiet and forcing him to move to the freight market. Everyone chases low prices and affordability, while ignoring the hidden concerns behind the ingredients. Zhao Yong is blinded by large orders, blindly chasing profits and step by step crossing the bottom line of business. An accident makes everyone see the truth, and the workers who have suffered losses finally understand how rare reliability is. There are no absolute shortcuts to take, and even a smoky small stall hides the principles of human conduct. With a steadfast heart, one can go far steadily.
