A Metaphysics Master Who Studied Law, Is That Common?
Xia Wange is a master's graduate in law and a master of metaphysics. Born unable to gather qi, she relies on jade and other people's fortune to prolong her life, with only one year left to live. Lu Qiu, the president of Qiuye Group, carries the backlash of imperial purple qi, which has left both his legs impaired and forced him to rely on a wheelchair. A deliberately staged car accident brings the two together. Xia Wange discovers that his purple qi can save her life, while Lu Qiu discovers that she can heal his legs. One needs qi, the other needs legs. Together, they take on an old monster known as Bai Ye, the man who nearly destroyed the Lu family twenty years ago and also caused her master's death. She protects him from evil forces and treats his legs; he prolongs her life and nourishes her jade. They constantly trade barbs, but deep down, each is the other's trump card.

Nata incapace di raccogliere il qi, deve affidarsi alla giada e alla fortuna altrui per prolungare la propria vita. Inizialmente le resta soltanto un anno da vivere. Lu Qiu, presidente del Gruppo Qiuye, subisce il contraccolpo dell'energia viola imperiale, che ha reso inabili entrambe le sue gambe e lo costringe a usare una sedia a rotelle. Un incidente automobilistico deliberatamente provocato fa incontrare i due.
