A Lucky Star Comes to the Zhou Family Courtyard
On a snowy night, the Du family abandons their newborn daughter due to prejudice. Hunter Zhou Tieshan rescues her in a dilapidated temple, names her Xiao Sui, and treats her as his own. Ever since she enters the household, the Zhou family repeatedly encounters turning points: game comes to their door, a dry well gushes spring water, mountain delicacies pour in, and their business gradually prospers. Under the affectionate care of the whole family, Xiao Sui grows up, and her several brothers each display their talents—some join the army and achieve military merit, some pass the imperial examinations with high honors, and some succeed in commerce. Facing the greed and harassment of outsiders, the Zhou family resolves them with one heart, and finally the whole family rushes to the capital, welcoming a brand-new life.
