Under the Green Parasol Lantern, A Spring Betrothal Letter (20 episodes)

In Qingwu Lane of Yunqi City, Liu Qingci, an orphan girl running a lantern shop, makes a living by crafting lanterns. Lu Huaijin, the young master of the Lu family pharmacy, has been arranged by his mother to marry into a merchant guild family, yet he specifically comes to her to order a "Spring Betrothal Lantern". Believing he intends to marry another woman, Liu Qingci takes the order with a heavy heart; Lu Huaijin, however, uses the lantern to convey his feelings and draws closer step by step. With family status like a wall and rumors like knives, their journey begins with a single lantern. Before the lantern display stage, they must make a choice: retreat into family arrangements, or take a gamble on genuine love. In the end, he breaks the engagement and forsakes his inheritance, while she casts aside her self-doubt, using the lantern as a betrothal gift to pledge their lives together.
