Reborn just before her murder, Reina Reed discovers that her greedy housekeeper, Wanda Bennett, has once again secretly moved her entire family into the estate's basement, waiting for a chance to steal her fortune. She tricks Wanda into leaving, then seals the basement with concrete, suffocating Wanda's five family members trapped inside. Wanda is imprisoned for theft, drugging, and trespassing, while the deaths are ruled accidental. Reina goes on to thwart extortion attempts by Wanda's relatives, shut down the complicit employment agency, and finally begin a peaceful new life with her family.
