One Sword Suppresses Demons, the Empress Betrays Me: Mountains and Rivers Fall
King Yu Qing single-handedly helped Nangong Fuyao ascend the throne, only to be accused of treason and exiled in return. As he departed, he summoned back the Demon-Suppressing Sword, immediately loosening the seal beneath the earth and stirring the demons into a frenzy as they prepared to emerge. Yu Qing went south to live in seclusion at the border, where he encountered Xiao Lier, a young disciple of the Qingyun Sect, and subdued a river dragon with a flick of his finger. With the seal in the imperial capital of Fuyao on the verge of collapse, the formation grandmaster Gu Daoren admitted that only Yu Qing could avert the crisis. Yet the empress would rather die than humble herself, secretly dispatching Xiao Wuchen to eliminate him once and for all. Little does she know that the 'useless cripple' she cast aside hides terrifying power.
