Young Gu Changsheng falls into a forbidden mountain sealed by imperial decree while trying to save someone. There, he encounters an immortal and learns the art of the Mountains and Rivers Chess, returning to his hometown with spiritual energy. Twenty years ago, he was framed as a harbinger of disaster by the villains Zhou Qing and Chen Wanshan, and his family suffered endless humiliation. Using his abilities to diagnose illnesses by observing the flow of qi and to investigate the distribution of water veins, he gradually exposes a shocking conspiracy involving the diversion of water, the seizure of farmland, and murder under the guise of sacrificial rites. He clears his family's name and protects the townspeople, allowing them to live in peace and prosperity.

Il y rencontre par hasard un immortel et apprend l’art des échecs des Montagnes et des Rivières, avant de rentrer dans son village natal avec une énergie spirituelle. Vingt ans auparavant, les scélérats Zhou Qing et Chen Wanshan l’avaient accusé à tort d’être un présage de malheur, et sa famille avait subi d’innombrables humiliations.
