On the campus of Peking University in the heat of summer, Chi Wu and Shen Shengyi had a short-lived youth romance that ended in haste. Reunited after a long separation, Shen Shengyi—who seemed wild and unruly—strips away his cynical facade to reveal the deep, stubborn devotion hidden in his heart, taking the initiative to draw closer to her step by step. Past misunderstandings and barriers gradually dissolve, and through their time together, Chi Wu slowly opens her heart. Confirming that neither of them had ever let go of their feelings, they journey from past regrets to a mutual dedication, reclaiming their love in the midsummer warmth and finally reaching complete happiness.
