Old Grudges of the Beef Soup Restaurant
A thirty-year-old son is ambitious yet unrealistic, constantly starting businesses and sponging off his elderly parents, draining all their savings. When his mother falls critically ill, he ignores her, but upon hearing about a huge demolition compensation sum, he immediately turns hostile and fights for the money. He causes trouble at the community center, hires people to frame the shop, and schemes endlessly, ultimately ending up in debt and disgrace. In contrast, the adopted son knows gratitude and repays it. The elderly person wakes up to reality, stops being blindly filial, and draws up a will, while the prodigal son finally reflects and repents through hardship.
