New Year's Eve, This Table I Flipped
On Chinese New Year's Eve, Gu Nuan prepares sixteen dishes, but her mother-in-law follows old customs and does not let her sit at the main table. Her husband Han Ye steps forward to protect Gu Nuan, and long-standing family conflicts are thus revealed. The mother-in-law suddenly suffers a cerebral hemorrhage, and the high treatment costs oppress the whole family with hardship. The husband and wife work hard to earn money, and the family unites to raise the medical expenses. After recovering, the mother-in-law writes a note of apology.
