Wancheng big shot Gu Beichuan served twelve years in prison after being wrongfully accused. Upon completing his sentence and being released from prison, a group of brothers earnestly pleaded with him to retake control of the Wancheng Group. However, he resolutely laid aside his illustrious reputation to open an auto repair shop, wanting only to make up for his ex-wife Xu Lan and daughter Gu Xiaoman, whom he had neglected for many years. His daughter despised him completely, mistaking her biological father for a good-for-nothing, while immensely worshiping the legendary Ninth Master. Gu Beichuan faced continuous harassment and suppression from wealthy young elites, and his identity was accidentally exposed. While resolving crises and guiding his vain daughter through growth and transformation, he brushed aside layers of fog to unmask his former brother Shen Zheng, who had framed him years ago.
