To save her family in crisis, wealthy young woman Lu Zhizhi participates in the closed beta test of a holographic dating game with a massive cash prize, becoming Player No. 99. Her conquest target, Si Huan, is a top student at Imperial Capital University who has endured mistreatment from multiple previous players. Confined in an oppressive environment for months, he is deeply guarded and wounded both physically and mentally. Rejecting the system's extreme abusive directives, Lu Zhizhi unchains him, cares for his health, helps him prepare to return to campus, and proposes an equal relationship agreement. Guarded and suspicious, Si Huan repeatedly tests her motives, believing she is merely toying with him using a different tactic. Over the course of the seven-day prologue, however, he is gradually touched by Lu Zhizhi's unwavering kindness.
