I Just Want to Be a Foolish King - Season 2
As chaos first emerged and the great calamity of the Investiture of the Gods approached, the Heavenly Dao remained unpredictable, treating all beings like straw dogs. A modern overworked young man unexpectedly travels through time and finds himself inhabiting the body of Di Xin, the infamous King Zhou of Shang, remembered throughout history as a foolish ruler. Yet he remains completely unfazed. A mechanical system voice announces, “Ding! Congratulations, Host, you have bound to the Foolish King System. Current mission: undermine the royal court, incite popular rebellion, and bring about the fall of the Great Shang, reducing its national fortune to zero.” The reward for completing the mission is immediate sainthood, immortality, and transcendence beyond the six realms of reincarnation. Di Xin's inner monologue echoes with excitement: “Become a Saint? How hard could that be?”
