Repairman Lu Ye storms into a scrapyard and rescues his mother, Su Wan, who is being dismantled as obsolete equipment. She is care robot SL-07, but she is also the woman who raised him. Amid lockdowns, supply cutoffs, and relentless pursuit, they struggle to save lives while uncovering the truth that has been buried. What Lu Ye intends to dismantle is the system of rules that decides who deserves to be saved and who must be abandoned.
