In Jinhua Community, conflicts arise frequently. Volunteer Lin Wan partners with newcomer Jiang Yi to mediate neighborhood disputes. Solitary illustrator Xu Jianing, working inverted day-and-night hours, gets into a severe noise dispute with Zhang Guilan, who needs peace and rest, while downstairs merchants are also troubled by high-rise laundry dripping. While addressing these disputes, the two clash in philosophy—one focuses on empathetic counseling, the other upholds strict rules. Putting aside their differences, they balance empathy and reason, guiding everyone to see from each other's perspectives and resolving long-standing grievances to restore warmth and harmony to the lively streets.
