After his parents passed away unexpectedly, Du An was left alone to care for his family's villa. His cousin Lu Xiaoxiao moved in with him, and they initially got along harmoniously. However, her boyfriend Zhu Fanzhou misunderstood the situation, assuming Du An was freeloading, and repeatedly insulted him, altered the interior decor without permission, and even plotted to seize the property and push him out. Cherishing their family bond, Du An showed great forbearance, but under Zhu Fanzhou's instigation, his cousin betrayed their affection. Heartbroken, Du An stopped making concessions and legally reclaimed his misappropriated property and rights. Lu Xiaoxiao eventually came to her senses and returned to a modest life. Weathering the storms, Du An defended his family legacy and found genuine friendship.
